The old temple dated back to Ayutthaya period once had a simple name as Wat Klang Na (temple in the rice paddy).It received the new name as Wat Chana Songkram after Somdet Phra Bawornrajchao Maha Sura Singhanat (younger brother of King Rama I) commissioned the renovation for it to be a royal temple. It is a monument for the 3 victories he had over Burma. It was told that Phraputha Norasee Trilokachet, the main Buddha image in Ubosot, was actually smaller. But after Somdet Phra Bawornrajchao Maha Sura Singhanat came back from nine-army war, he stopped at this temple and gave his sacred vest to cover the Buddha image. It was then plastered to appear bigger. Come and visit this temple. It is just a zebra crossing away from Khao Sarn Road.

H11: Wat Chana Songkram（战胜寺）

一间建于大城王朝时期的古寺，原名Wat Klangna (田中寺)，後来改为 Wat Chana Songkram (战争胜利)。拉玛一世时期，国王御弟颂德玻温拉差昭玛哈素拉行，大事装修，升格为皇家佛寺，及作为他曾到缅甸与缅军交战，而连胜三次的纪念，因而赐名为战胜寺。

另有传说，佛寺内大雄宝殿的主佛，帕菩塔诺拉施德利洛卡伽佛像。原来体积比较小，颂德玻温拉差昭玛哈素拉行从缅甸九军战争，远征归来，在此佛寺休息，他把画有灵符战袍脱下，敬献给佛，并披盖在佛像身上，後来，工匠就用灰土，把战袍盖密，佛像就因此变大。直到今天。如果有时间，不要错过来参观此佛寺，因为很近，走过考訕路就到佛寺。
