Originally, Jim Thompsan Art Center was a residence of Mr. Jim Thompson, an American pioneer who restored and preserved Thai silk weaving until it gained worldwide recognition. This museum is a Thai teak wood house. Inside displays Mr. Thompson’s antique collections collected before he disappeared in 1967. Because of many captivating antiques, we recommend you to use the on-site guide service in order to learn and enjoy every nook and cranny of the house.
