Beside street food, there are good and upscale restaurants like Err Urban Rustic Thai, another Thai restaurant by Chef Bo – Duangporn Songvisava. She’s the owner of Bo.Lan, a Michelin star Thai restaurant which is listed in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. There are hard-to-find regional Thai menu such as Khao Tod Yam Pla Insee Mae Klong Kem from the Central (deep fried rice ball with salted seer fish from Mae Klong River) and Jin Moo Som Muang from the North (northern pickled pork). If you would like to try original Eastern food, visit Suphannika on the rooftop on Chao Phraya River Bank where it serves Moo Cha Muang curry (pork curry with garcinia cowa leaves) from Trad.
